How to Request a Refill

The fastest and most reliable way to request a prescription refill is through the Patient Portal. Requests submitted through the portal go directly to your care team and are typically processed within 48–72 hours.

1. Patient Portal (Recommended)

Log in to the portal and submit a refill request under Messages or Medications. This is the quickest way to reach your care team directly.

2. Call Our Office

If you don't have portal access, call 832-968-7003 and our staff will submit the request on your behalf.

What to Have Ready

  • Medication name and dosage
  • Pharmacy name, phone number, and address
  • Your date of birth (for identity verification)
  • Any recent changes to your insurance or pharmacy

Please note: Controlled substance prescriptions require an in-person visit per state regulations and cannot be refilled by phone or portal message alone. If you are due for a follow-up visit, please schedule one in advance of running out of medication.

Timing Tips

To avoid a gap in your medication, please submit refill requests at least 5–7 days before you run out. This allows time for provider review, insurance prior authorization if required, and pharmacy processing.
